The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Thursday 9th July 2026 Is “The Holy Spirit and Evangelism”

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Evangelism is not a casual activity; it is a serious assignment that requires adequate preparation. To achieve significant results when you go out to evangelise, there are some things you need to know.
First, you need to spend time praying and getting connected with the Holy Spirit. When you spend time with the Holy Ghost in prayer, you will receive the boldness and ability to speak the right words that will lead sinners to salvation. Peter was a very timid man who had previously denied knowing Jesus Christ (Luke 22:54-62). However, after the upper room experience in Acts 2:1-4, he started preaching Christ boldly, as we see in today’s Bible reading.
My dear child, you are not too young to preach the gospel publicly. By consistently studying your Bible, spending time in prayer, and being filled with the Holy Spirit, you will be empowered to evangelise boldly and win souls for Christ. Evangelism is a spiritual battle, as the devil will not willingly set his captives free. Therefore, you must be spiritually equipped before you go out to evangelise.
PRAYER POINT:
You need the help of the Holy Spirit if you want your evangelism to be productive.
