Open Heavens for Teens daily devotional 18th September 2026 by Pastor Adeboye is here. The RCCG Open Heavens For Teens is published to transform & connect teens to Christ. Read and share with someone.
The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Friday 18th September 2026 Is “Worldly Trends”
MEMORISE: – (Romans 12:2)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
READ: 1 John 2:15-17 (KJV)
It is sad to see some Christians copying the world when they should be setting standards in righteousness. Some Christians now dress like the people of the world, sing worldly songs, and bring in worldly dance steps into the church. God is not happy with this.
Being a Christian makes you a salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13), which means that you are to bring savour to the world, and not copy or follow its sinful ways or trends. The people of the world wish they could follow and embrace the way of Christ, and that is why you exist as the salt of the earth. However, if you begin to copy their ways, it becomes difficult for such people to leave their lifestyle.
My dear child, the ways of God can never be outdated. Everything God has and offers is better than what the world offers. Therefore, you don’t have to dress, sing, or dance like the people of the world. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you live a holy life so that when sinners see your way of life, they will want to copy you. Don’t adopt worldly cultures: strive to be a perfect reflection of Christ.
KEY POINT:
As a child of God, the world should copy you.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Luke 2:1-24, Joshua 4-6
HYMNAL:
Hymn 1 – At the Cross
