The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Tuesday 16th June 2026 Is “How Hungry Are You?”
Read: Psalm 42:1-8 (KJV)

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
Today’s memory verse tells us that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. When a person who is stranded in a desert sees water, he or she will rush to drink it to his or her fill. Similarly, when a person who has not eaten for days finally gets food to eat, such a person will eat until he or she is filled. This is how God wants us to thirst and hunger for righteousness.
My dear child, when you hunger and thirst for righteousness, you will stay away from sinful pleasures. You will also stay away from anything that will dishonour God. Also, if you have friends who refuse to repent from their sins, you will distance yourself from them so that they won’t lure you into sin. If you follow anyone on social media whose content causes you to sin, you will unfollow and block him or her.
Beloved, anything that will make you lose your appetite righteousness can hinder you from entering God’s Kingdom. Therefore, avoid such things.
