MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday 4th November 2026.
Hidden and unbroken curses are responsible for the trouble in many people’s lives. The problem is that a curse can be passed on to generations following; it can be inherited. If it is not broken, it can continue with the victims (individual and family) for more than a century. Believers and unbelievers who have chosen to be ignorant of curses and their destructive effects do so at their own peril. Ignorance is no bliss!Things began to go awry for man since God cursed Adam and Eve.
Reuben laboured under his father’s curse and could not excel. Joshua’s curse on whoever rebuilds the walls of Jericho was fulfilled several years later. A curse is capable of unleashing terror and causing unimaginable damage unless it is broken. However, a curse does not just land on a person unless there is a legitimate cause for it to land (Proverbs 26:2). As the saying goes, “Prevention is better than cure.” Believers need to know what they can do to avoid being cursed.
Here are some of them: First, you must live right. You cannot be cursed when you are living right. What does living right mean? It means to be in right standing with God. That is, you are righteous and your life pleases God in all ways. You do not have secret sins and God is happy with you. When Balak, the king of the Moab hired Balaam to curse and defy Israel (Numbers 23:7).
Balaam could not curse Israel because they were in right standing with God. He said, “How shall I curse whom God hath not cursed? Or how shall I defy whom God hath not defied?” If a curse was issued against Israel at that time, it would not have landed on them. Numbers 23:21 provides the reason, “He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.” Beloved, let your ways please God. Make righteousness your lifestyle and identity. By so doing no curse will be able to locate you nor trouble you.

- Blood of Jesus, blot out every mark attracting curses to my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers and personalities issuing curses against me, die with your curses, in the name of Jesus.

- I send curses and evil pronouncements back to senders, in the name of Jesus.
- I break all hidden curses by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
- Any unbroken curse in my life, be exposed and be broken now, in the name of Jesus.
- I leave the place of curses for the place of blessings, in the name of Jesus.
