FIRE SCRIPTURE – Job 42:12-17
12. So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
13. He had also seven sons and three daughters.
14. And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
15. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
16. After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations.
17. So Job died, being old and full of days.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday 24th May 2025.
There are many more lessons to draw from the life of this patriarch, but we will draw the curtain with today’s lesson. The crux of Job’s life is that God is still changing lives and rewriting histories. He won’t bring us this far to abandon us halfway. His thoughts towards us are those of good and not evil. He will surely give us a hope and a future. Don’t give up on God, He won’t give up on you.
Job 14:14 says, “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” God is still in the business of turning lives around. Turning zeros to heroes, nonentities to celebrities, and backbenchers to front liners. Please, I beg you, don’t give up on your journey. Keep on holding unto God, your change will surely come.
Are you experiencing a wilderness experience currently? Are you at your wit’s end? Nothing is working? Bills are piling up? No marriage yet? Crying for the fruit of the womb? Beloved, heave a sigh of relief because El-Roi has not forgotten you. He sees you. He may be silent, but He can hear your silent cry. Keep on believing, He will come through for you. He came through for Job. He gave him twice what he lost and gave him long life and health to enjoy it. Your testimony will come, and people will laugh with you, in the name of Jesus. This too shall pass. The night season will not last forever; a morning of joy is coming.
Please, I beg you, while the trying period lasts, do not go to Egypt for help. Stay with Jesus, stay with the true God, and I can tell you convincingly that it won’t be long, Jesus of Nazareth will turn towards you to show you mercy, and so shall it be in the name of Jesus. Amen!
