MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday 12th June 2025.
In today’s Fire Scripture, the strong man is Satan or the devil. The person stronger than the strong man is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. The strong man’s goods are human beings and their treasures.
We became Satan’s goods as a result of the fall of Adam. God’s plan of salvation was effected through Jesus who died for our sin, rose from the dead, and is seated in heaven on the right hand of God the Father. The Bible says, “For this purpose the son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).
As believers in Christ, we are victorious, notwithstanding the continuing opposition by the powers of darkness. Jesus has conquered the devil and restored the kingdom of God. “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15). God permits the devil and other evil spirits, the demons, to attack believers in order to strengthen their faith. The conflict is spiritual. The Bible encourages us in Ephesians 6:11-12 to “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, …” There may be a strong man in the family. There may be a strong man of a person’s father’s house, mother’s house, village, town, city, state, or country.
The devil is the ultimate strong man. Every other strong man is a demon who is an agent of the devil. The troubles which we face today, for example, demon-possession, witchcraft, sickness, poverty, evil dedication, destiny change, curses, evil covenants, and idolatry can be easily traced to Satan, the ultimate strong man. However, Jesus, the stronger man, has obtained total victory for all who will come to Him. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

- Strong man of my father’s house, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every strong man sitting on my breakthroughs, be unseated by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Wickedness of the wicked against my life, expire, in the name of Jesus.

- Every evil power attacking my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Environmental strong man attacking my star, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Lord Jesus, deliver me from the works of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
- I stand on the finished works of Christ and I enforce my total victory over evil principalities and powers, in the name of Jesus.
