GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 10TH SEPTEMBER 2025.
The Hebrew word used in the text for “respect” is shâ’âh, which means to regard, look at, or behold. It implies inspecting and considering. Scripture tells us that God had no respect for Cain’s offering, in other words, it was rejected. This is a powerful lesson for all Christians: not all offerings are acceptable to God.
Cain’s offering reflected his value for his relationship with God. How you honour and esteem your Maker is demonstrated in your giving. Many Christians give out of convenience or offer their leftovers to God, treating Him as if He is desperate for anything they bring. This is an error! Your giving reflects your heart, a photograph of your faith, and a measurement of your honour towards Him. Be intentional about your giving. Let it be done with reverence, joy, and faith, with all your being. This is your Year of the Chain Breaker. Give like one who knows their breakthrough is here!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am a violent giver in God’s kingdom. My giving moves heaven to act with speed on my behalf. I do not hold back! As I give, I know God multiplies my seed and returns it to me a hundredfold. Hallelujah!
