When some Christians hear the word worship, the first thing that comes to mind is slow Christian music. Worship is more than that. Let me show you the definition. Worship is the recognition and appreciation of the goodness, blessings, kindness, and righteousness of God.
As you worship, you speak of His character. For example, when you say, “Lord, you’re good; you’re kind,” etc., you’re defining, recognising, and appreciating His character. God likes it when you worship Him like that because it shows who He is in your life; it separates Him from everyone and everything else.
Furthermore, worship brings us a greater revelation of God. In this type of fellowship, He reveals Himself to you. He also reveals your future, your life, and so much more. True worshippers never lack direction. Give this more attention, and it’ll change your life.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Dear Lord, I acknowledge and appreciate Your faithfulness, kindness, Your love, and Your grace at work in me. I thank You from a heart full of worship in Jesus’ Name!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
This year, strange and excellent testimonies shall continue to be my portion because of my heart of worship. Hallelujah!
