Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 23RD JUNE 2025
Do not have a mind that is patterned after this world system. Having a mind that is patterned after the world’s system will defeat you. It will defeat you in your marriage. It will defeat you in your health, in your finances, in your career, in your profession, and in anything you are involved in. Don’t blend with the mindset of this world. Have a changed mindset. Don’t say, well, everyone is doing it. Rather, allow the Word of God transform your mind.
You see, you can decide to stay above water. It is possible to walk on water while others are sinking because of your mindset. The choice is yours!
Beloved, the mind you should carry is the mind of Christ. Jesus Christ willingly abdicated His position as God. Why? Because if Christ did not identify with us as humans, there is no way we can put on the mind of Christ. Jesus did not come to this earth as God. He became a man like you. He was given birth to by Mary. He went through problems. He lived and developed in the house like every other child develops in the house. But when He was to die, He died the worst death in the worst possible way, a criminal’s death.
So, what is the bible telling us? It is telling us to develop a Christ-like attitude. Though you are a human being, because you are now in Christ, you can have that same mind that Christ had. Put on the mind of Christ and when confronted with challenges, ask yourself what will Jesus do.
