TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 21ST APRIL 2026
It is not your sin that made you a sinner. And you sinned because you are a sinner. The sins you committed are not what made you a sinner. You have the nature of sin in you the day you were born because of one man. And that man’s name is Adam. Maybe when we get to heaven, we will ask him, “Why did you put all of us in trouble?”
So it is clear that it is not your sin that made you a sinner. The scriptures went further to say, “Even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life”. In other words, just as one man, who is our federal representative, brought all of us under the bondage of sin, there is another man. Who, through His own righteousness, brought us justification. It is not your righteousness.
The problem with the church over the years is that we have been flaunting our own righteousness. I will do this so that God will do that. Stop that! Ever before you move, God has already moved. Everything you need in life has already been provided.
There is nothing you can do that will make God go to provide it. He provided it even before you were born. Why? Because He is a good God. When you understand this, you will love God more and live your life in freedom. When you see Jesus, you will greet Him. He has made us champions forever! So you can dominate anywhere we go. You are in charge.
Beloved, it is not about you. It is about what He did. He saw your mistakes! He saw your faults! He saw your mess, yet He said, I will do it for you because I love you. I know you cannot do it. I will help you out of sin myself. Glory to God!
Beloved, accept and enjoy what you have been given.
