TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 19TH APRIL 2025
Many believers are so sin conscious that they live every moment sorrowful and in confession. Beloved, understand that God loves the sinner, but He hates sin. That is why He sent Jesus (the last Adam) to pay the price for our sin. What God did with the last Adam cannot be cancelled by sin. Sin can no longer stand against you because of the finished work of Christ on Calvary. God now sees everyone who has accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour from the stand point of Jesus.
The penalty for sin was paid by the release of grace in Christ Jesus. That grace was not just for redemption from the sin of the past, neither was it only for that of the moment. Grace deals with any sin you may commit in the future. In other words, Jesus dealt with all past, present and future sins. Therefore, you are covered. You are not exposed to the enemy’s arsenal or attack. You cannot be a victim of his condemnation, intimidation or manipulation. Grace is speaking for you.
It is only a matter of time, the things you believe God for will come. No matter what your requests are, God is able to do much more. Jesus has paid the price for your total redemption. Sickness, disease, poverty and lack are taken care of in His redemption package. Even if they had pronounced a curse on you, by the law of a higher blessing you are delivered. Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV) says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ;…”
So, you are blessed and not cursed. Christ has been made a curse for you. When He paid the supreme price for the curse, you were inside Him. So, the price was paid on your behalf.
