TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 15TH FEBRUARY 2025

Beloved, what you feed will grow. Our text admonishes us to ensure that the Word of Christ dwells in us “richly”. This means that you must be full of the Word, such that when pressures come, it is the Word that you have stored that automatically comes out. Take this to the bank, it is either you are feeding your spirit, or you are feeding your flesh. Whichever one you feed, is the one that will rule and control your life. Do not allow laziness to stop you from feeding your spirit, that will be to your detriment. You must be intentional and brutal about your growth and development.

Beloved these are not the days to be careless about how you live your life. You must have a place where you sit down to glean from, if not, the enemy will pluck out your eyes. There is so much happening in the society today, and all of these are the enemy’s tricks to keep you from being still enough to listen. If he can keep you away from sitting down to receive from God, then he has got you. It is only from God that you receive hope, faith, strength, and courage for everyday living.

God has all the answers you would ever need to whatever life throws at you. Therefore, take a quality decision to sit at His feet. Come early to services. Every aspect of the service is important, and you never know when He will meet you. Do not put God on a schedule, or timetable; Martha probably did that. According to her, food should have been served first before every other thing, but Jesus thought otherwise. He is the sovereign God! As you make these adjustments, I pray that the light of God will flood your life. You will know what to do at every point in time. You will not be confused, and you will never be stranded.

DAILY CONFESSION

The enemy will not exact upon me, nor will the sons of wickedness afflict me. The loving-kindness of the Lord will never be taken from me, neither will His faithfulness to me ever fail. His covenant He will not break, nor alter the words that have gone out from His lips. So, I am confident that everything He has spoken concerning me shall come to pass. (Psalm 89:22, 34)

I am more than a conqueror, for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I am the light of the world and the salt of the earth. I arise and I shine, for my light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me. Darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, but the Lord will arise upon me and His glory shall be seen upon me. The Gentiles will come to my light and kings to the brightness of my rising. (Rom 8:37, 1John 4:4, Math 5:13, Isai 60:1-3)

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.

I am called for a purpose; I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom. Therefore, I declare that I am a person of integrity, I am spiritually fervent, I am accountable in all I do because I’ve been raised to live the Kingdom Life here on earth.

It is my day of Rest!
