TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 14TH JANUARY 2025
There is a trend I have noticed; a lot of people migrate, leave their countries, and relocate without seeking God’s guidance. I have often told my congregation that even if you are running away from your country, don’t destroy your ties with your home country, don’t damage it because if you damage it beyond repair, you will regret your actions. Our nation is passing through a gestation period because a new nation is about to be born. Can a Nation be born in a day? Yes! God can turn everything around overnight. This nation will surely fulfil its prophetic destiny. All I am asking from God is grace to be here and watch things happen the right way. It will give me joy to see Nigeria become all that God ordained for it to be.
The book of Isaiah 49:24-26 (NLT) says, “Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go? But the Lord says, the captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children.”
Proverbs 11:21 (KJV) says, “…the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” Irrespective of your location, every yoke that has been mocking you shall be destroyed. What the enemy packaged to mock your faith, shall be overturned! All enchantments and incantations against you and your nation are coming to an end. Their altars can never be bigger than the altar of God. Our Rock is bigger than their rock.
So, don’t jump out because of challenges without seeking the face of God. God is still God. The God who blessed Isaac in Gerah in the midst of famine is still on the throne. He has not changed, will not change and cannot change. That is why I know that you are coming out of every adversity victorious.
