TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 12TH MAY 2026
Notice that the scripture does not say, the love for the Father because you cannot love God. Your love for God is not pure enough. It is His love for you that will precipitate your love for Him.
What brings about the love of the world is when you have not truly fed and leveraged the love that God has for you. You are so precious that every other thing is not important to Him.
How do you know God loves you so much? Because He spared not His only Son, Jesus Christ. You do not determine God’s love for you based on what He gives you. Jesus is the proof of His love for you. He spared not His only son. He was willing to give His life for you. That means you are valuable to Him.
Sin will become an issue with you when you have not leveraged the love of God for you. “For God so loved the world…….” (John 3:16 KJV). The translators could not find an adjective to qualify it, which is why they used the word ‘so’. It is robust and heavy.
You do not have to pray religiously, roll on the floor, and jump up and down for you to know that God loves you.
The Bible says that perfect love casts out fear. So do not be afraid of the devil.
What is the perfect love? The love of God for you! He knows you through and through. He knows what you have done, what you will do, and what you are doing, yet He says He loves you.
Human beings will love you as much as they have not known your secret. The day they discover your secret, they will reduce it. But God’s love is perfect love. It casts away fear. When you wake up in the morning, say: “Lord, thank you for loving me.”
