TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 10TH AUGUST 2025
Beloved, God knows how to use even your enemies to bless you. All through scripture, we see a pattern: God can raise help from the most unlikely places. Cyrus was a heathen king, yet God called him “My shepherd.” God said to him, “You may not know Me, you may not even like My people, but you will bless them. You will fulfill My pleasure.”
The same God is still speaking today. He is saying: “I will use men, whether friend or foe, to accomplish My purpose in your life.” God can raise a Cyrus for your sake. He can command someone who doesn’t favor you to sponsor, support, or pave the way for your promotion. Why? Because the heart of kings is in His hands.
We are in the season of REST. God is turning situations around. No failure in your life will be fatal. No mistake will have the final word. You may have been overlooked or despised, but hear the word of the Lord: “Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and His Holy One, to Him whom man despiseth… Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship… because of the LORD that is faithful.” – Isaiah 49:7
You may even feel like a lawful captive, responsible for the mess you’re in. But the Lord says: “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered…” – Isaiah 49:24-25
The Cyrus Anointing is not about how perfect you are. It’s about God stepping in, not because of your works, but because of His mercy and divine agenda. He will raise help for you. He will cause doors to open. He will use whom He chooses, how He chooses, and when He chooses, all for your lifting.
Get ready. The Cyrus anointing is at work.
