2024 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.
Inspired by a stirring message from his pastor, Bruce went out on a mission to win souls in his neighbourhood. He took the contact details of each person he reached and kept in touch with them until they all started attending church, growing in God’s Word, and winning others too! He also visited those who had strayed from church, encouraging them to return to church and the fellowship of God’s Word. That’s accountable soul-winning!
As Christians, we should be concerned to know if anyone in our congregation has strayed away or fallen by the wayside. We’re never to give up on anyone. The Lord expects us to account for every soul. The words of Jesus in John 17:12 should always be our inspiration in dealing with those that the Lord adds to the Church. He said, “While I was with them, I kept them safe by the power you have given me. I guarded them, and not one of them was lost, except the one who had to be lost. This happened so that what the Scriptures say would come true” (John 17:12 CEV). The Lord Jesus accounted for every one of His disciples.
Do not Miss This: Prayers for The Last Day of The Year
We have to be accountable for the souls the Lord gives to us. In Luke 15, the Lord Jesus told the parable of a shepherd with one hundred sheep who left the ninety-nine to go search for the one that got missing in the wilderness. When he found it, he carried it home rejoicing and invited his friends and neighbours to celebrate. Then, the Master said, “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance” (Luke 15:7).
There’s a difference between someone who has never been in the church and someone who’s been in church but strayed away. We must go after such and win them back. So today, call or visit that brother, sister, or family member who hasn’t been coming to church. Share the love of Christ with them and keep interceding for them. When you win them back, the Bible says there’ll be great joy in Heaven. Hallelujah!

PRAY
Dear Father, I pray that your grace and mercy locate everyone who’s been in the Church but, for some reason, has strayed away. May their love for you be rekindled, birthing a fresh appetite for your Word and the things of the Spirit. I pray that as Christ is formed in them, they’re deeply rooted and grounded in faith and in your love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
