SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 30TH SEPTEMBER 2025
Sometime ago, my wife and I were somewhere in New jersey, USA, and a man looked at me for a while and said, “Are you a pastor?” I asked him, “Why did you say so?” He said, “It is written all over you.” Now, this was someone that I had never met in life before that time, and I have not met him again since that day.
On another occasion, I was at Wembley Area in London, England where we were being checked into a hotel. Someone who was of another religion, a young lady from North Africa, looked at me and said, “What you have, I need it.” When my wife and I sat down, I asked the young lady, “What are you talking about?” She said, “There is something you have, and I need it.” Then I said to her, “I have Jesus Christ. I have the Power of the Holy Ghost.” And she said, “All that you said, I need them.” That was how I led her to Christ.
Obviously, there was something these people saw or perceived around me that was too palpable to ignore.
Beloved, there is an atmosphere, an aura that a real child of God carries. It is an aura of holiness and sanctification. There is something on a child of God that someone should see and say, “Look, there is something different about this person.” There is that feelable sweetness of the Spirit of Christ that people see around a genuine child of God. There is an atmospheric change that happens with the arrival and presence of a genuine Christian in an environment. And if you arrive at a place and such a change does not noticeably happen, something is wrong.
Sister, when unbelievers always pursue you and say, “Hi Baby, can I take you out?” Check yourself. There is something seductive about you that is pulling them to you. If there is that Holy Ghost atmosphere around you, they would look at you with respect and dignity. Initially, they may feel attracted to you by the flavour of your godly character, but when they come closer to you, they will realize that it is the godly type of attractiveness, and they will respect you.
Beloved, nothing is authentic and genuine about your Christianity until a change has happened in your life, until your eternity is guaranteed. What shall it profit a person if he spends his whole life in church and ends up in hell?
Now, 2Corinthians 3:18 tells us how we can be changed so we can carry this atmosphere: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
If you want to look like Christ, look at Christ. What you look at determines what you look like. Let Jesus Christ be your standard and role model.
Remember this: If you want to look like Christ, look at Christ.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Refuse to be responsible for leading people astray; do not be a tool in the devil’s hand.
2. Spend time with God to acquire and exhibit His character.
PRAYER: Lord, draw me closer to You Lord. Help me to be a tool in Your Hand for the pulling in of souls into Your Kingdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
