There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 22ND APRIL 2025
It has been established that the blessing of God flows to those who live upright lives. There are specific expressions of uprightness that guarantee the blessing. We shall consider one of them today, and it is called the Fear of God: Walking in the fear of God provokes the blessing of God. Anyone who desires the blessing of God must live in the fear of God.
Genesis 42:18 says, And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God.
Job 1:1 also tells us: There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job’s fear of God led him to eschew evil, and as a result, his substance was great in the land. You can’t fear God and lack substance. The fear of God ensures abundance and makes people outstanding in life.
Now, what is the fear of God about?
Proverbs 8:13 says: The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Those who hate evil can’t lack good, and those who love evil can’t see good. Even if they appear to enjoy good today, it is only a matter of time before it fades.
REMEMBER THIS: Those who hate evil can’t lack good, and those who love evil can’t see good.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Maintain the fear of God in everything you do.
- Maintain a lifestyle of integrity and godliness.
PRAYER: Father, I ask for the grace to walk in continuous reverence and fear of You. Help me to avoid anything that would cause me to sin against You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
