SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 13TH JUNE 2026
Christianity is a spiritual platform for excellence and not an excuse for mediocrity. Being the best is our calling as children of God, and that is excellence. Excellence is the pathway to the top in all realms. The fact that you know how to pray does not mean you should be mediocre person.
We see excellence clearly demonstrated in the life of Joseph. In Genesis 41:38, Pharaoh said unto his servants, “Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?” And in verse 39, he told Joseph: “…there is none so discreet and wise as you are.”
In other words, you are better than everyone else, and for that reason, I have placed you at the top. We have nowhere in Scripture where a person manifested mediocrity, covered it with prayer and fasting, and excelled or rose to the top in life. Joseph was a covenant man, yet he did not depend on prayer alone to rise; he chose excellence as a key.
Now, what is excellence?
- Excellence is the quality of being outstanding and extremely good. You are outstanding and extremely good at what you do.
- It is an aversion to average and an addiction to quality. You run away from mediocrity. For you, “good enough” is not enough, because you are addicted to high quality.
- It means holding nothing back and leaving no stone unturned in the delivery of life’s assignment.
Beloved, there are many Christians today concerning whom God doesn’t know what to do. God will not place you above people who are far better than you in what they do. That is one of the challenges we see in many systems that celebrate mediocrity.
Beloved, be so spiritually deep and physically outstanding that when people see your works, they are automatically directed to God.
Let your excellence carry an evangelistic dimension. If you can make your heavenly Father proud with your excellence, no force is strong enough to frustrate your destiny.
Beloved, the highest thing you can do in your journey of faith is to represent God with excellence in your generation.
REMEMBER THIS: Excellence is the pathway to the top in all realms of life.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Refuse mediocrity and embrace excellence in all you do.
- Develop your skills to become outstanding.
- Deliver your assignments with quality and diligence.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for showing me the necessity of excellence. I receive the grace to walk in excellence and represent You well in my generation, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
