SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 8TH NOVEMBER 2026
One of the greatest revelations of God is the revelation of His unfathomable love for humanity. It is easy to love someone who loves you. It is easy to love someone who offends you and says, “I’m sorry.” But it is difficult to love someone who is perpetually in the habit of offending you, especially someone who is currently in the process of offending you.
It is even more difficult to love someone who mocks your love and is not willing to respond in any positive way to your kindness. The more you love them, the more they hurt you. The more you try to make peace, the more they try to make war.
That is the kind of people that most of us are towards God, yet He still loves us. God is a God of unfathomable love.
John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Many of us grew up to only know God as a God of judgment, who is looking for someone to kill and send to hell. It is true, God is a God of judgment, but He is also a God of unfathomable love.
Romans 5:6–8 says, For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly… But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
You see, we had not repented; we did not promise that we would repent, yet Christ died for us. That is the kind of love God has for mankind.
Some people have mocked God, insulted Him, and almost blasphemed Him, yet when they turned to Him, He received them. Some people who have done terrible things, and when they said, “I have changed,” God still welcomed them.
I have seen some of the most terrible people give their lives to Christ, and I have wondered, “Oh Lord, did You really save this person?” Paul the apostle was one of those who partook in the killing of believers. When they were stoning Stephen, Paul was there. Yet, look at what Paul later became.
That is the unfathomable love of God.
Beloved, if there is a devil deceiving you that God does not love you or that God does not care for you, tell that devil: “When I was hating God, God was still loving me. When I was far from Him, He was reaching out to me.”
God’s love is not based on our perfection; His love reaches us in our state of weakness, failures and our unworthiness. This is why we must never allow our past, our mistakes or the opinions of people to make us doubt the love of God.
REMEMBER THIS: God’s love is unfathomable; He loved us even when we did not love Him.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Reflect on the depth of God’s love for you today.
- Thank God for loving you even in your weakness and imperfection.
- Show the love of God to someone who may not deserve it.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your unfathomable love. Help me to understand the depth of Your love for me and to reflect that same love to others, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
