The Topic of Seeds of Destiny Devotional for 18th December 2025 Is “Premature Arrival”
SCRIPTURE: Joshua 13:1
Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Those who arrive too early usually stop at the place where God wants them to start.

SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 18TH DECEMBER 2025
In our anchor Scripture, God reminded Joshua that despite his age and past victories, there was still much land left to possess. In essence, God was saying, “Yes, you have achieved much, but the assignment is not yet complete.”
Beloved, how would you feel if God told you that even after all you have celebrated, there is still much work ahead? The truth is that only those who do very little have time to dwell on what they have already achieved. Those who are making real impact are too focused on the next assignment to start counting trophies.
Premature arrival is an enemy of ultimate fulfilment. When people become satisfied too early while the journey is still unfolding, they lose focus and momentum. To arrive early is to arrive too little. Don’t succeed too early and stop moving forward.
I once advised a young man whom God was already blessing financially. He asked if he should put his face on billboards and become the public image of his brand. I told him to relax, remain under the radar, and keep building quietly. Let your results speak first. When it becomes too late for anyone to stop you, then you can show up.
Many people unknowingly expose themselves to unnecessary battles by announcing success too early. Before your roots are deep, you carry your results everywhere. Wisdom teaches us to grow quietly until our fruit is undeniable.
If God could still tell Joshua, at old age, that much land remained to be possessed, then no one has an excuse to stop halfway. Age is not a limitation in destiny. Moses began his ministry at 80 and completed his assignment at 120. Abraham remarried at about 125 and fathered nations. They refused to be held back by time.
Beloved, do not rush to be seen. Hurry slowly. Keep moving with focus, discipline, and humility. Let your growth be steady and your impact undeniable.

Those who arrive too early stop at the place where God wants them to start.
