SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 13TH DECEMBER 2025
Prayer is not a weak exercise; it is a powerful spiritual labour that produces tangible results. Our anchor scripture shows that prayer, when offered earnestly by a righteous person, carries great power and yields wonderful outcomes. Those who truly pray never lack results in life.
However, not everyone who prays experiences answers. In fact, not everyone who prays expects answers. For some, prayer has become a routine activity or a religious obligation rather than a purposeful engagement with God. This is why some are genuinely surprised when their prayers are answered.
The truth is this: those who understand the principles of prayer receive answers. Answered prayers are not accidental; they are the product of spiritual understanding. People whose prayers are consistently answered are proof-producers—they do not lack results in life.
So, what are the keys to answered prayer?
1. Remembrance of Previous Divine Intervention
There are times when God intervened in your life even before you prayed. Recalling God’s past faithfulness—both in your life and in the lives of others—builds confidence and strengthens your expectation for more (Psalm 103:1–5). Verse 2 says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” A heart that remembers God’s past works is positioned for present answers.
2. Faith in the Reality and Faithfulness of God
“Without faith it is impossible to please Him…” (Hebrews 11:6)
You must believe that God is real, trustworthy, reliable, and faithful to His Word. Prayer without faith is an empty exercise. When faith is present, prayer becomes powerful and productive.
3. Understanding That Prayer Is Never a Wasted Labour
“In all labour there is profit.” (Proverbs 14:23)
Colossians 4:12 describes Epaphras as one who “laboured fervently in prayers.” This confirms that prayer is spiritual labour—and no labour in God is wasted.
Whenever you pray and the enemy whispers that you are wasting your time, agreeing with that lie guarantees failure. But when you persist in prayer, your answer will surely come. Remember, the devil is a master liar—never take instructions from deception.
4. Maintaining the Right Utterance
What you say in prayer must align with what you say in daily life (Proverbs 18:21; Numbers 14:28). Speak God’s Word, not your fears, feelings, or circumstances. Negative confessions weaken faith, and faith is essential for answered prayer.
Remember: Prayer is labour—and labour always produces profit.
ASSIGNMENTS
Take time to thank God for His past interventions in your life.
Pray with expectation—believe you will receive answers.
Speak life into your situation daily. Refuse to confess what you do not desire.

Lord, thank You for Your help in my life. I place my life in Your hands. Perfect all that concerns me, my family, and my destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
