God’s timing is perfect, yet it often challenges our patience and trust. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that every moment in our lives has a purpose, orchestrated by a sovereign God who sees the bigger picture. As we navigate September, reflect on areas where you’re waiting on God—perhaps for a breakthrough, a relationship, or a dream to come to fruition. Waiting can feel like a wilderness, but it’s in these seasons that God shapes our character and deepens our faith. Trusting His timing means surrendering our need for control and believing that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).
Consider the story of Joseph, who endured years of trials—sold into slavery, imprisoned, and forgotten—before God elevated him to a position of influence (Genesis 37–41). Joseph’s story teaches us that God’s delays are not denials. What seemed like setbacks were part of God’s plan to prepare him for a greater purpose.
