Focus: A Prayer for Patience

Scripture Reference: Ephesians 4:2

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

Reflection:

Patience is an essential quality that allows us to navigate relationships and life’s challenges with grace. It involves humility and gentleness, as well as the ability to endure difficult situations without losing our composure or compassion. Patience reflects a deep trust in God’s timing and a willingness to bear with others in love. It is a fruit of the Spirit that helps us respond to life’s frustrations with understanding and kindness, fostering harmony and demonstrating Christ’s love to those around us.

PRAYER FOR TODAY 6TH OCTOBER 2024.

Prayer: Lord, grant me patience today. Help me to respond to challenges and to others with humility and gentleness. Teach me to bear with one another in love, and to trust in your timing. Thank you for your patience with me, and help me to extend that same patience to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
