Focus: A Prayer for Rest

Scripture Reference: Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Reflection:

Rest is a gift from God, a time to pause and find refreshment in His presence. In a world that often values busyness and productivity, it is important to take time to rest and recharge. Jesus invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, promising to give us rest. This rest is not just physical, but also spiritual and emotional, a deep sense of peace and renewal that comes from being in God’s presence. By resting in God, we are rejuvenated and strengthened to continue our journey with Him.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
