The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Friday 15 Th December 2023 Is “Caught Unawares?”
Read: John 9:1-4
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

There are two important appointments for everyone on earth: the appointment with death (Hebrews 9:27) and the appointment with life. If a fellow keeps the appointment with life which is through Jesus Christ, he will escape the appointment with death as the Bible says in John 1:4: “In Him was life, and the life is the light of men.” However, if a fellow misses the appointment with life, death becomes inevitable: this appointment leads to the worst life in eternity – hell.
Nobody wishes to die young, neither does anyone wish that his/her child should die young. However, wishes do not stop young ones from dying. Jesus knew His time on earth would be short, so, He spent His teenage and youthful years doing the work of His Father. He didn’t spend His time on frivolous activities, instead, He went about doing good.
This same mindset should be in you. Do the work of God in your chosen Field because what will count at the end of your stay on earth is how well you used all your gifts to the glory of God.

If you haven’t, join a department in the Church this Sunday and register for the workers-in-training programme immediately.
