Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
Hospitality should be a way of life for all Christians. God expects us to be hospitable and show love to everyone around us. A child of God should not be rude to people; rather, he or she should be accommodating and helpful towards others.
As a teenager, you may not have money or material things to give to people. However, you can be hospitable by being friendly and helpful to people, including strangers. You can also show hospitality by serving others, offering words of encouragement, and praying for people who are going through difficult situations.
My dear child, an act of hospitality and kindness can be the answer to your prayers. You can get blessed when you genuinely show love and kindness towards everyone around you. If you don’t show love and hospitality, you are not reflecting Christ, and you are disobeying one of God’s greatest commandments (Matthew 22:36-40). Be hospital to everyone you come across.
PRAYER POINT:
Dear Lord, please help me to always show hospitality to everyone around me, in Jesus’ name.
