The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Sunday 19th January 2026 Is “Broken but Beautiful”
Read: Jeremiah 18:1–8 (KJV)

“The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.”
Pain is difficult to endure, and at times it may feel meaningless. However, with God, nothing is ever wasted—not even the most painful seasons of our lives. God often uses moments of pain to shape our character and draw out hidden beauty within us.
In today’s Bible reading, God showed Jeremiah a potter at work with clay. The clay was pressed, moulded, and sometimes reshaped when it became flawed. Yet, the potter never abandoned it; instead, he carefully worked it again into a vessel that pleased him.
In the same way, God allows certain pressures and broken moments in our lives to refine us, teach us important lessons, and draw us closer to Him. The Bible reminds us that God’s grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
During seasons when you feel broken, overwhelmed, or discouraged, trust God to supply His strength. Don’t allow pain to define who you are. Instead, let it become a stepping stone toward discovering God’s greater purpose for your life.
Remember that beauty can rise from brokenness. A cracked jar can still hold light, and its glow often shines brightest through the cracks. In the same way, God can use your difficult moments to reveal His glory through you.
My dear child, do not allow pain to make you bitter—let it make you better.

Father, please let Your light shine through my imperfections.
