The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Wednesday 19th February 2026 Is “Sowing in Righteousness”
Read: Psalm 126:1–5 (KJV)

“Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
Sowing in righteousness means choosing to do what is right before God—even when it is not easy or convenient. It may mean giving up your right to argue so that peace can reign. It may mean showing kindness to someone who has not been kind to you. It may also mean telling the truth, even when you fear being misunderstood.
When you consistently choose righteousness, you create an atmosphere of peace around you. More importantly, you position yourself for a harvest of God’s blessings.
Sometimes, sowing in righteousness involves sacrifice. Psalm 126 reminds us that those who sow in tears will reap in joy. Doing the right thing may feel painful at first, but the reward that follows is always worth it.
Consider Joseph in Genesis 39. He refused to sin with Potiphar’s wife, even though giving in might have seemed easier at the time. Because of his decision, he was falsely accused and sent to prison. Yet Joseph remained faithful to God. In due season, God lifted him up and placed him in a position of great authority. His temporary suffering led to a greater purpose.
My dear young friend, temptations will come. You may face pressure to compromise your faith. But remember, every righteous choice you make is a seed planted. Stay faithful. Trust God. In His perfect time, you will reap a joyful harvest.
