“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
Tithing is a biblical principle that involves setting aside one-tenth of your income as an offering to God. It is important to understand that tithing does not determine whether someone will go to heaven—salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. However, tithing is an act of obedience that attracts God’s blessings, as seen in today’s memory verse.
Tithing is not merely about money; it is about recognising God as your ultimate Source. Everything we have—our skills, opportunities, gifts, and resources—comes from Him. When you tithe, you are saying, “Lord, I trust You as my Provider.”
My dear young friend, do not ignore this opportunity to honour God. Whenever you receive money—whether from allowances, gifts, small jobs, or other sources—learn to set aside one-tenth as your tithe.
Give it faithfully in your local church or where you are spiritually nurtured. Your tithe supports God’s work, missions, and outreach to those in need. In doing so, you become a partner in advancing God’s Kingdom.

When you obey God through tithing, you make yourself a partner with Him.
