The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Thursday 11th June 2026 Is “You Cannot Trick God”
Read: Acts 5:1-11 (KJV)

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
God is omniscient; He knows and sees everything, including the thoughts of your heart and the motive behind your actions. There is nothing you do in secret that God does not know. It is possible to lie to a fellow human or trick one’s parents; however, God cannot be tricked. Today’s Bible reading tells us about Ananias and Sapphira. They lied to Peter and died instantly. It did not cost them anything to tell the truth; however, they both decided to tell a lie, and that led to their death.
Some teenagers deceive their parents by inflating the amounts needed for them to get certain things in school. This is not a good habit, and if you also indulge in it, I want you to ask God for forgiveness today and determine not to do so again. You may trick your parents, but you can never trick God. My dear child, do not be caught in the web of deceiving people. It is dangerous, and it has grave consequences. As a child of God, honesty and integrity should be your watchword at all times.
