MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

God is awesome. In today’s devotional, we shall discover the mystery behind the making of God’s champion. God’s ways are deep. God needed a man to disgrace Pharaoh and the idols of Egypt. The same king that Moses would later fight, enacted a decree which eventually became a vehicle for transporting Moses to the palace.

The same monarch, surrendered his resources for the training of the leader of the army that would fight him. God took Moses to Pharaoh’s palace to enable him study the nooks and crannies of the place. He must have witnessed enough pagan rituals in the palace to enable him fight the idols of Egypt to a standstill, at God’s appointed time.
I have often wondered why Pharaoh die not know that he was training his enemy in his palace.

This is a divine mystery! Your enemies may subject you to rigorous training by making things difficult for you today, but do not worry. One day, God will establish and set you up to fight them. Moses knew enough about the armies and the weapons of the kingdom of Egypt. But only one day was enough for God to bury Pharaoh and his multi-million dollar army in the Red Sea.

While Moses laid helplessly, as a baby in the basket made of bulrushes, God beheld him and saw a champion in him. The waters of the river could not drown baby Moses; and the waves could not sweep him away.
At that moment, the enemy would have looked at Moses and concluded that the child was finished. But, because God saw far into the future, He knew that the future champion and leader of His people would go places.

Have you ever felt helpless? Have you ever felt so weak that you thought you would not make it? God would make a way for you.
Indeed, God’s ways are past finding out. Just trust in Him and hold on to Him. He will surprise you by bringing out his champion that is hidden in you.

MFM PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY 15TH JANUARY 2020.

Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine!

Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Refrain:
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
