MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday 26th June 2026.

A believer in Christ should not be afraid of death, neither should they believe it is the end of life. I advise anyone who is afraid to go back to the scriptures and learn what God says about believers’ final destiny. It is for us to rejoice with fellow saints in the presence of the Most High. Death is not the end of a man’s life. Rather, it is the beginning of the journey into his final abode, after judgement.

This final destination can either be heaven or hell. This is the serious matter that we need to ponder on, so as to do everything possible to make sure we get to heaven. It is a matter of concern to everyone, young or old, rich or poor, believers or unbelievers. God is not a respecter of man, neither does His word bow to status, position or achievements. It is how you live here and now that determines the next destination.

Preachers often talk about this at the cemetery or any time a body is being laid to rest. Christians, let us be reminded that as long as we are here and breathing, we should always do the will of God, so that we can rest in His bosom after the departure from earth, called death. The scariest thing is the second death. A true child of God who is doing the will of God, obeying His commandments and conforming to His instructions would not be found there.

This righteousness is not ours, but Christ’s. Therefore, if you are not yet born again, please, take a decision today and do so. That is the starting point of departure from the camp of those who will be part of the second death, the place of eternal damnation. For those who are Christ’s, their final destination is heaven, where they will enjoy eternal bliss in God’s presence (Revelation 21:6-8).Beloved, the choice is yours. To live and perish with the world or to die and be with Christ.
