Today’s Word By Joel Osteen – 16th August 2026.
It’s easy to get impatient and try to take matters into your own hands when what you’re trusting God for is taking longer than you thought. But God’s promise is that if you keep traveling steadily in faith, He will honor you with every blessing in His timing. Don’t fight the wait or get discouraged. Don’t be in a hurry when you’re waiting for the right person, waiting for the business to rebound, waiting for your health to turn around.
God is strategic. God does everything for a reason. There is nothing random or haphazard about His actions. He knows what you need and when you’re going to need it. Sometimes He delays things, closes a door, or causes someone to walk away. You may not recognize it at that moment, but it’s all serving His plan. He is working on what you’re concerned about. If it hasn’t happened yet, it wasn’t supposed to happen. God has an appointed time to bring the promise to pass. You can stay in peace, knowing that He’s ordering your steps and every blessing is on the way.
PRAYER FOR TODAY – JOEL OSTEEN 16TH AUGUST 2026.
Father, thank You that there is a purpose for times of waiting, whether I understand it or not. Help me to be patient, to keep traveling steadily along Your path, and to rest in the fact that it’s all part of Your plan. I believe that You have every blessing already lined up for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
