For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

Have you noticed that when travelling by aeroplane, turbulence can often be at its worst during ascent or descent? That instability can accompany changes in altitude or the aircraft’s movement into a new level of air.
In the same way, many Christians face “turbulent” situations and assume the devil is succeeding or that their lives are in decline. Yet what feels like resistance may in fact be evidence of elevation. Certain testimonies require the backdrop of struggle or a season of refinement so that the glory of the Lord is made known to those who witness it.
Do not worry or stress when your circumstances seem difficult; God is causing you to rise higher than you have ever been before. Your current state is proof that He is not done with you yet.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me recognise that elevation comes in different ways. Even when situations seem bleak, give me the strength to see the new heights to come!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My adversaries are proof that God is causing me to rise. I am soaring high like an aeroplane gliding in the sky. I’ve left sickness, struggle, pain, and poverty on the ground!
