GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 31ST AUGUST 2026.
The word “kind” from our theme scripture is the Greek word chrēstós. It means to be mild, pleasant, and warm-hearted, among other things. If you’re kind, you’re a person who is attentive and considerate to the needs of others.
This word describes the attitude the Lord Jesus wants to produce in us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Teaching kindness is not just for kids in kindergarten or Sunday school; this is for every person surnamed with Christ.
The Lord Jesus was moved with compassion when He saw someone in need. He was kind. Some Christians are too “cool” to show kindness. They think being kind is weakness, yet our own Father is kindness itself. As we close this month, make it a point to move forward with the year in kindness to others!
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, by Your Spirit, teach me how to display kindness to those who need it the most.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I break loose of anything that has been holding me back from being kind to others. My days ahead shall be filled with compassion for God’s people!
