Some prayers go “unanswered” simply because they’re not specific enough. Let me ask you this: when you pray, do you pray general prayers for blessings, or have you learned the secret of getting specific with God when you pray?
Prayers like, “God bless my whole life,” are not specific enough. Which area exactly are you asking this blessing for? That kind of vague, general prayer will not yield any results. In today’s verse, the words ‘whatsoever we ask’ denote stating specifics.
The Greek rendering of the word whatsoever means who, which, what. See how interesting that is? So, when you pray, state exactly the who, the which, and the what you’re referring to. Find the scriptures to support your requests and be specific!
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thank You, Lord, for directing me to find Your specific promises that apply to specific situations in my life right in Your Word!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
