Viewing someone through “rose-tinted glasses” describes the act of overlooking faults in a person and seeing the best in them. Today’s verse details the true meaning and conditions of walking in God’s love.
One of these is choosing not to keep a record of the wrongs others commit against you. Putting on spiritual rose-tinted glasses doesn’t mean denying someone’s mistakes; it means choosing to move beyond them and loving others as Christ loves you, without bitterness, disdain, or a catalogue of past failures. Let your view of others be coloured with love, and this will be your best year yet!
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, teach me to love like Christ loves. Help me to release past hurts, refuse bitterness, and see others through the lens of Your unconditional love.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I love others with the same love Christ extends to me, without jealousy, envy, or bitterness. I choose to see the good in everyone, regardless of past faults or failures.
