GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 21ST OCTOBER 2026.
In boxing and mixed martial arts, one of the first lessons a fighter learns is to keep their hands up at all times. When a fighter drops their hands, even for a moment, they leave themselves exposed and vulnerable to their opponent’s counter punch.
The reason many Christians fail, even whilst possessing the power of prayer, is that they only pray when trouble strikes. That’s like raising your hands after the opponent’s punch has already been thrown. If you wait until trouble comes to pray, you’re too late. Like a well-trained boxer, you must maintain a defensive stance. Keep your hands up even before you need to throw your lead hand.
Stay in constant and consistent fellowship with God through prayer so that when the enemy takes a jab, you’re always prepared to land the final knockout punch!
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, thank You for the gift of prayer. Help me remain constant in fellowship with You, so that I’m never caught off guard but always strengthened and ready to overcome
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am a master in spiritual warfare! Just like a boxer in the ring keeps their hands up at all times, I remain in the place of prayer, always ready to strike at the enemy!
