ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE  FOR 17TH JULY 2026.

Micah 4:1-5 describes 4 freedoms: 1. Freedom from ignorance (He will teach us His ways); 2. Freedom from war (neither shall they learn war anymore); 3. Freedom from want (everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree); 4. Freedom from fear (and no one shall make them afraid). So many people today are not free. Many are still under the bondage of ignorance – they simply do not know what to do.

Many are still under the bondage of sin, which has made them to be fearful. However, the scripture says that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7). Many are heavily indebted and this has made them slaves to their creditors. But there is a way out from all forms of slavery. The way out is in Micah 4:2, “And many nations shall come and say, “Come, let us go to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob” (TLB).

You need to come to Jesus who guarantees total and all-round freedom. Make up your mind to be free from bondage. There is already a provision for you in Christ, you have tarried for so long. Matthew 11:28 says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” You need rest; come to Jesus today.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, I come unto you today, take away all my burdens, forgive my sins and grant me rest from all my troubles in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
