ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE FOR 13TH APRIL 2026.
Jesus Christ, following His glorious resurrection, encountered His disciples at a time they were still afraid of the Roman authorities and unwilling to get out of hiding, out of concern for their safety. Jesus explained the fulfilment of the Scriptures through His suffering, death, and resurrection on the third day.
He told them that as witnesses, they would preach repentance and forgiveness of sins to all nations in His name. He also admonished them to wait in the city of Jerusalem till He sent to them the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, as promised by His Father.
PRAYER POINT: Lord, grant me grace to wait on you. Endue me with the power from on high in Jesus’ name, Amen.
