And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Joshua commanding the sun to stand still remains one of the most debated miracles in Scripture. Some believe it’s poetic language describing prolonged daylight, while others take it literally. However you choose to interpret it, one truth is undeniable: an Old Testament man performed one of the greatest miracles in human history. As a Christian, you carry authority far greater than Joshua’s. If he could command the sun and moon to stand still, then your situation must also respond to your words. Christ didn’t give you eternal life alone, He gave you eternal power to shape your world. Tell every negative circumstance in your life to stand still!
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, help me to exercise the authority You have placed within me. Teach me to speak with faith so every negative situation aligns with Your will.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Just as Joshua stopped the sun, every situation I face must comply with my words. I possess power that shapes my world. My situation is standing still at my command!
