Scripture: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” – 1 Peter 5:6
Reflection:
Humility is the pathway to honor in the kingdom of God. While the world often celebrates pride and self-promotion, God exalts those who humble themselves before Him. Humility is not weakness; it is strength under control. It is the recognition that every good thing comes from God and that without Him, we are nothing. To humble yourself is to depend wholly on God, not on your wisdom, wealth, or abilities. Jesus, though Lord of all, humbled Himself even unto death, and God highly exalted Him. When you walk in humility, you attract God’s grace, because He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Pride leads to downfall, but humility lifts you to places beyond your imagination. Today, lay down every form of self-reliance and choose to walk in humble submission to God’s will.
