MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday 2nd December 2025.
Yesterday, we noted that many believers are missing out on the wonderful benefits of praise and that Heaven is not happy about that. We also identified that the reason such people are not enjoying the blessings of praise is their wrong attitude, and we advocated a praise-attitude adjustment.
People’s wrong attitudes toward praise and the consequences attached often arise from two major reasons. First, they do not know the value or benefits of praise, so they underutilise and even abuse it. Second, many do not know how to praise God effectively. Today, we will address both issues.
The wonders of praise cannot be overstated. We are created to praise and worship God. The spirit beings in Heaven are devoted to worship (Revelation 4 and 5). When we praise God, we put the spotlight on Him—the One who truly deserves all glory. The more we glorify Him, the more He causes our own lives to shine.
Praise brings intimacy with God. It is the antidote to depression, discouragement, failure, defeat, pain, and sorrow—especially in these last days filled with troubling signs. Praise brings God into every situation. It opens prison doors and sets captives free. It wins battles, brings healing, releases the anointing, provides solutions, and breaks yokes. It is a powerful weapon of warfare for wise and discerning believers.
Dear reader, I encourage you to cultivate a right praise attitude. Make praise a daily lifestyle. You will experience the power of God’s abiding, indwelling, and empowering presence.
How then should you praise God? Understanding this will help you develop the right attitude towards praise and turn it into a lifelong habit. Praise has many forms of expression. Psalm 150 outlines nine different ways to praise God. You may speak, shout, sing, clap your hands, or lift them. You may play musical instruments, stand, kneel, or dance. Whichever expression you choose—or a combination of them—give God heartfelt worship and high praise continually.
Praise God for who He is (Psalm 150:1).
Praise His Name (Psalm 113:1; Psalm 135:1–3).
Praise His mighty acts (Psalm 150:2).
Praise Him evermore!
