MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday 3rd May 2025.
A sister lived a very reckless life when she was in school. She committed so many abortions that her womb was damaged beyond repair and had to be removed. Eventually, she gave her life to Christ and gave her all to serving her God, assuming that marriage and children were out of the question.
When a brother approached her in marriage, she did not hesitate to confess that she had no womb. The brother insisted, and they eventually got married. Miraculously, she had, not one, but four pregnancies. The Creator had given her another womb from His spare parts store!
If you have given up hope of a new beginning because of yesterday’s errors, our God is merciful and full of surprises.
Look at the women listed in the genealogy of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 1:3-6. Four out of the five women listed had bad foundations. Rahab was a prostitute in Jericho until she bowed to Jehovah and helped the spies sent by Joshua to capture the city of Jericho. She eventually married Salmon, one of the spies. Ruth was a Moabitess, whose ancestor, Moab, was a product of incest, and God had banned Moabites from His congregation. She married Boaz and was David’s great-grandmother. Tamar was the woman who had children, Phares and Zerah, for her own father-in-law, Judah.
Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother, was the wife of Uriah, whom David murdered after they committed adultery.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, the old things have passed away, and all things are new. Jesus allowed them to crucify Him with His arms wide open just to show that there are no limits to His love for you, and He is ready to embrace as many as come to Him. Beloved, look up, never look back, there are no limits with Christ.
