The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Monday 29th December 2025 Is “Openness Kills Sin”

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
A careful study of the Bible reveals many examples showing that openness before God is a powerful weapon against sin.
One notable example is King David. He committed adultery with Bathsheba and later arranged the death of her husband, Uriah. Although God was displeased with him, He gave David an opportunity to repent by sending Prophet Nathan to confront him.
When David realised that his secret sin had been exposed, he became deeply remorseful. He confessed his sins and genuinely turned away from them, and God showed him mercy.
I also have a personal testimony. When I was younger, I lived recklessly and committed many acts that were against God’s Word.
However, when I joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the Lord exposed my sins to me.
I repented sincerely and surrendered my life fully to Him. I then opened up to my Father in the Lord, who guided me through proper discipleship, leading to my sanctification and consecration.
My dear child, God is loving and merciful, but He can be a consuming fire to a sinner who refuses to repent. Today,
He is calling you to open your heart to Him. Confess your sins, forsake them, and turn away from worldly pleasures. If you do, God will surely show you mercy and give you victory over sin.
ACTION POINT:
Ask God for the grace to overcome sin at all times.
