“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
In today’s Bible reading, we see how God visited Abraham and Sarah when they were already far beyond the age of childbearing. While they were entertaining the visitors, God made a powerful declaration that Sarah would have a child within nine months.
Sarah laughed within herself because, according to human reasoning and biology, a 90-year-old woman could not possibly give birth.
Honestly, many people would have reacted the same way. However, God proved Himself faithful. Exactly as He promised, Sarah conceived and gave birth to a son. This time, her laughter was not from doubt but from joy. God turned what seemed impossible into a testimony.
This story teaches us that nothing is too hard for God. He is not limited by age, time, science, or circumstances. What looks impossible to humans is very possible with God.
My dear child, if you have been struggling academically or going through a tough season in life, be encouraged—God can turn things around for your good.
Even challenges in your family are not beyond His power. Go ahead and rejoice; laugh in faith and put the devil to shame because you serve the God of all possibilities.
