The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Thursday 18th December 2025 Is “Cornelius Prayed”

“And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing.”
Today’s Bible reading introduces us to Cornelius, a Roman centurion who feared God, lived uprightly, and was well respected among the Jews.
He regularly gave to the needy and devoted himself to prayer and fasting. Because of his consistency, Cornelius experienced an angelic visitation.
An angel appeared to him in a vision and instructed him to send for Peter, who later came and preached the message of salvation to him and his household.
Many teenagers today believe that angelic encounters and divine visions are only for pastors or prophets. This belief is incorrect. God can reveal Himself to anyone who diligently seeks Him.
There was a time when I was just a worker in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and I had a powerful vision while on church premises. In the vision, I saw pastors coming out of their prayer rooms before ministering on the pulpit.
When I shared this with my Father in the Lord, he confirmed that it was indeed a former practice in RCCG. The vision was God’s way of reminding the church to return to that spiritual discipline.
My dear child, God can also reveal great things to you. You can experience divine encounters, visions, and revelations. However, these come through fervent prayer, dedication, and a sincere heart that seeks God.

Father, please let me encounter You in new ways.
