The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Wednesday 5th November 2025 Is “When You Don’t Understand”

There are times in life when things simply don’t make sense — when your prayers seem unanswered, your plans fail, or painful events unfold without reason. Those moments can be very discouraging, especially when you can’t explain why they’re happening.
Think about Job. In one day, he lost his children, his wealth, and his health. He didn’t understand why, and to make matters worse, the people around him didn’t help — instead, they mocked and discouraged him. Some even told him to “curse God and die!”
But Job chose a different path. He trusted God even when he couldn’t see what God was doing. Eventually, his faith paid off, and God restored him beyond his imagination.
Beloved, there will be times when you don’t understand why certain things are happening — maybe a failure, rejection, sickness, or disappointment. When that happens, don’t be quick to question or accuse God. Instead, hold tightly to your faith and keep trusting Him.
Today’s Bible reading reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not rely on our limited understanding. God sees the bigger picture. What looks confusing today will make sense tomorrow when you see how He used it for your good.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, please help me to trust You even when I don’t understand what is happening around me.
