“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
Prayer is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. It is a direct line of communication with Him through which we experience His power. True prayer goes beyond mere words; it must be fervent, faith-filled, and sincere. When we pray with expectation, believing that God will answer, our prayers become powerful and effective.
Many of the miracles, signs, and wonders seen in the Body of Christ today are the results of seasons of consistent and heartfelt prayers by God’s children. Sometimes people testify, saying, “Daddy G.O. laid hands on me and said a simple prayer, and my miracle happened.”
What they may not realise is that such miracles are often birthed from nights of intense and persistent prayer.
My dear child, don’t wait for emergencies before you pray. Make prayer a lifestyle, not just an occasional activity. Stay connected to God by joining physical and online prayer groups that will help you grow spiritually and keep your fire burning.
May the Lord answer all your prayers speedily, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
